DHAKA: Bangladesh Cricket Board has decided not to tour Sri Lanka under current quarantine norms. Nazmul Hasan, Bangladesh Cricket Board’s president, has asked Sri Lanka Cricket to reschedule the revised three-Test tour of Sri Lanka, which was scheduled to start with the first Test from October 24.
“We have asked them to reschedule the tour, we cannot do a tour with a 14-day quarantine in place,” Nazmul said about Sri Lanka’s revised proposal. Initially, Bangladesh’s tour of Sri Lanka was scheduled to take place in July-August, and was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
