ISLAMABAD: China-Afghanistan-Pakistan-Nepal Quadrilateral Foreign Ministers Video Conference was held against Covid-19 on Monday. Pakistan underlined the need for collective efforts to defeat the pandemic.
Minister for Economic Affairs Khusro Bakhtiar, who represented Pakistan at the Video Conference stressed that the participating counties should develop political consensus against Covid-19 and declare a united front to combat it.
He said we should learn from each other's experiences and strengthen coordination among research institutions to contain the pandemic.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in his video message at the Conference stressed the need for unity, solidarity and multilateral cooperation to fight Covid-19 pandemic.
The Minister said China, Pakistan, Nepal and Afghanistan are regional countries and they must learn from each other's experiences in dealing with Covid-19.
