KP govt taking steps to reduce property tax: Bangash

PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Local Government Kamran Bangash says the provincial government is taking concrete steps to reduce the property tax in the province.

In a statement in Peshawar, he said the first installment of five hundred million rupees has been released to Tehsil Municipal Administrations in lieu of two percent property tax.

He said that the provincial government has given more than four billion rupees’ relief to the construction sector in terms of property tax.
