LAHORE: The National Taekwondo Championship commenced today (October 28) at Kala Shah Kaku, Lahore under the supervision of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) with S A Garden and worthy sponsors.

President Pakistan Taekwondo Federation Wasim Ahmed has announced that 650 provincial and departmental officials and athletes affiliated to the federation are participating in the event.

Following teams are competing in the tournament:

• Pakistan Railway

• Pakistan Police

On this occasion, the President of South Asian Taekwondo Association Omar Saeed said that the organization of SAF Games in Pakistan in 2021 will not only enhance the image of Pakistan but also promote the sports.
