KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange above the 98,000 mark on Friday as share prices surged more than 2,000 points in intraday trade
Pakistan Britain Business Council has appreciated the federal budget for next fiscal year and termed it as balanced in the present difficult situation.
In a statement, the PBBC Chairman and Chief Executive officer Julian Hamilton Barns observed that in these difficult times when the world is fighting the coronavirus pandemic and facing economic meltdown, introducing the budget was not an easy task for the government of Pakistan.
He said notwithstanding the conflicting forces, Pakistan government has issued a balanced budget without new taxation whilst recognizing the need for a rapid action.
