Peshawar Zalmi head coach Darren Sammy lands in Karachi

PESHAWAR: Head coach of Peshawar Zalmi Darren Sammy has arrived in Karachi to take part in Pakistan Super League (PSL) Edition Six set for launch from February 20.

As the PSL start draws near, the foreign players and coaches have started to reach Pakistan. Besides Darren Sammy who landed in Karachi on Saturday morning and looked in good spirits, South African stylish batsman South Rilee Rossouw also landed in Karachi.

On his arrival, Sammy had a little talk with reporters where he urged the cricket lovers to enjoy the cricket matches by implementing the Covid-19 health protocols, especially by wearing masks.

 He also said: “I am happy to be a part of Pakistan Super League and Peshawar Zalmi once again. As a coach, I am excited to be a part of this team once again,” said a jubilant Sammy. Meanwhile, South African Cricketer Rilee Rossouw, who will be playing for Multan Sultans, has also landed in Karachi. 

In his tweet, he thanked his fans for the welcoming messages and wrote: “Looks like I landed in Karachi just in time to catch the 2nd T20. Thank you all for the welcoming msgs.”
