Police in Berlin break up "anti-coronavirus" protest.

BERLIN: In the capital city of Germany thousands of people marched in to protest against the newly introduced Coronavirus restrictions.

Thousands attended the protest  and the majority of attendees were not wearing face masks or socially distancing as is required

Police were present and imposing strict mandatory mask wearing and social distancing measures.

Soon after the warning, police tweeted "unfortunately, we have no other option" than to disband the demonstration.

Although many protesters were peaceful, police said that several arrests were made on Saturday.
