Punjab Sports Minister meets Shahid Afridi, pledges to work for sports promotion
LAHORE: International Cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi called on Punjab Sports Minister Rai Taimor Khan in Lahore on Saturday During the meeting, they expressed resolve to work together for the improvement of sports in Punjab.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that Shahid Afridi is our national hero. He said that services of Shahid Afridi will be remembered always.
Rai Taimor said that the Sports budget has been increased for the promotion of sports activities in Punjab during this fiscal year.
Shahid Afridi said that Sports board Punjab has made history, to organize Kabaddi World Cup. He said that he will work with the Sports Board for the betterment of cricket after the Corona lock down.
