ISLAMABAD: The Honoury Consul General of Ghana in Pakistan and former President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shahid Rasheed Butt has said that the African market should fully explored for exports.
The total GDP of African countries is more than US$ 3 trillion while its trade with China is more than US$ ? 15billion but the bilateral trade volume with Pakistan and African countries is a few billion dollars. He said that 80% of Africa's GDP consists of Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Sudan, Tanzania and Ghana, and trade with these countries should be given priority.
