Two key Punjab government ministers have contracted the corona virus
LAHORE: Punjab Energy Minister Dr Akhtar Malik and Literacy and Informal Basic Education Minister Raja Rashid Hafeez also contracted the corona virus and tested positive.
A spokesman for Dr Akhtar Malik said the provincial energy minister's corona test was positive, after which he quarantined himself at home. The spokesman said that the test reports of the rest of the family members of Dr Akhtar Malik would be received by this evening while the energy minister would keep his loved ones informed through social media accounts.
Later, Corona virus was also confirmed in Punjab Minister for Literacy and Informal Basic Education Raja Rashid Hafeez.
Raja Rashid Hafeez had tested positive for corona virus after which the provincial minister quarantined himself at home also.
It may be recalled that two days ago, Deputy Secretary General of PML-N Ataullah Tarar had also contracted the corona virus.
