WHO warns Europe of very serious surge in COVID-19 cases
GENEVA: World Health Organization (WHO) has warned Europe of very serious surge in COVID-19 cases.
In a statement, WHO's Regional Director Hans Kluge said in the past two weeks the number of new coronavirus cases has doubled in more than half of European member states which points towards a grave situation unfolding before us.
The virus has already infected about thirty million people across the world claiming more than 942,000 lives so far.
